Mission Statement

When I returned to the dental industry after many years in the not-for-profit sector, I brought with me one of the key core values of that sector: a respect for, and commitment to, each and every stakeholder. Our two-fold mission therefore reflects an equal commitment to the needs of both dental practices and dental professionals.

We strive:
To be a trusted, reliable and always available resource for CNY dental practices seeking staffing solutions. We accomplish this through ready support, quick action, honest communication and by cultivating a strong network of capable and dependable dental professionals.

And we strive:

To be an advocate and mentor for dental professionals seeking fulfilling work in a supportive environment. We do this by offering job preparedness training and counsel, by providing comprehensive information about placements and market trends, by advocating and negotiating on their behalf, and by committing to honest communication and follow up.

About Mary Lang, RDH, MA

Mary is a veteran Hygienist having practiced in both the US and Switzerland.

She is the past president of the Central New York Dental Hygienists Association and sits on the Advisory
Committee of the SUNY MVCC School of Dental Hygiene, scheduled to open in 2024.

She holds graduate degrees in Museum Studies and Art History and has taught at Syracuse University,
Cazenovia College, SUNY Canton, SUNY Broome and OCM Boces. As a past trustee for local NPO’s she
was instrumental in the hiring of staff and executive directors.

Mary started Chairside CNY LLC in 2011. Her dual mission is to provide vetted staff to dental practices
while advocating for dental professionals in the employment process. She believes that the reputation
Chairside now enjoys is the result of diligence and an abiding commitment to fairness, transparency and
discretion.

Meet the Team

SUSAN DIXON FERRALDO, MA

Susan is the Business Manager for Chairside CNY. She earned her master’s degree from SUNY
Cortland and has had 20 years of teaching experience in the Syracuse City School District. She
brings a wealth of customer relations, financial expertise and social media knowledge to the task
and has quickly added an understanding of the dental employment industry to her skill set. Susan
and Mary have been lifelong partners and are happy to add Chairside CNY to their list of sister-
collaborations.

JENNIFER NAPOLI, CDA, OM

Jenn is the Outreach and Social Media Coordinator for Chairside CNY. She has been a dental

professional for 11 years, mastering roles ranging from Certified Chairside Assistant to Office

Manager. Her skill set includes clinical, clerical, administrative and HR. Jenn plays a key role in

the placement and recruitment aspect of the business. Her entrepreneurial instincts, ability to

envision opportunities and develop strategies for implementation make her a highly valued

member of our dynamic team.
